My Morning Treat.

Despite eating my weight (or near so) in crackers last night, I'm working toward 112 pounds - so am regularly exercising  and am trying to eat healthy meals. (That and today is Monday, so if you're anything like me you'll need all the energy you can get).

These days, I feel that people are educated enough about what they're putting in their mouths, so there really isn't an excuse to be making yourself unhealthy. Don't worry, before you jump to any conclusions this isn't a weight loss blog and I don't want to be your personal trainer... this is me, this is my blog and if you don't like it, you know how to exit your browser.

Previously, I would have skipped breakfast - but if I'm going to keep up with living a fab life in London I need to get my nutrients. Here's what I had for breakfast today, it was delish, and kept me hunger free until mid afternoon. To answer your question - yes, I would recommend it... but not on a daily basis as it's important to keep to a balanced diet.

To point it out, I had fat free natural yogurt (2 tablespoons), some fruit and nut muesli along with a broken up banana. I for one, don't like Milk. I think if you could team the muesli with soya milk and bananas rather than fat free natural yogurt, it would make an even healthier breakfast.

To some this may be an acquired taste, but I do think it will be worth the results.
I'm proud of my photography here, nearly as good as an M&S advert right?
As I said this was more than enough to keep my hunger from calling. Mission accomplished if I do say so myself.
Christmas will soon be upon us, so it's crucial that I stick to this plan rather than stick my head face first in a tin of quality streets (or any other variation of Christmas chocolates) and gain 100 stone overnight. - that certainly wouldn't be what I want for Christmas; this year or any year after.

Wish me luck,

The Re-birth.

Go into town on Saturday, you'll notice that everyone is caught up in their own thing. So much so, that they cannot lift their head up to say a short hello, or even look your way to smile. I live in London, and as fab as this city is, such is life in busy London.

I'm a country girl who recently packed up all her stuff and moved to the city to make it big. As per most people, I got myself a 9-5 (*paycheck*), a new wardrobe and most importantly an Oyster card, hence the title Oyster Girl. This is my re-birth, my chance to make myself a life full of passion, to be successful and to make memories.

One thing I've noticed for sure during my time in London is that the world is full of people who are unknowingly living to work rather than working to live. Yes, we all need to make a living, but I cannot stress enough that we only get one life, and therefore need to make the most of it whilst we are able to.

While trying to make it big as a writer, I plan to grab all opportunities that come my way, and have already decided that I'm going to make my own luck in life. (You're not going to win a million, if you don't invest in lottery tickets - just saying).

I'm going to put it out there... this is going to be an anonymous blog to an extent. I'm not going to show you who I am because I want everyone to be able to relate to my experiences. That, and the fact that I'm a little tipsy on wine right now, so I thought that this would be a good idea. The truth is, only time will tell...

For now I'm off, and about to eat my weight in crackers.

Thanks for stopping by,
